6th Man of the Year

Yesterday afternoon the NBA announced the 6th Man of the Year. The award belongs to the bearded one from the Oklahoma City Thunder...James Harden. He led all bench players in ppg with 16.8, while shooting a career best 49.8% from the field. "The God Father of beardum" is one of the most explosive players in the league. Harden could probably start for most teams in the league, but for the Thunder he's in a perfect role. Coach Brooks referred to James as a 6th starter. When Harden accepted the award he said,

"A lot more opportunities have come my way...all I did was just took advantage of them."
The Oklahoma City Thunder swept the defending NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs. The await the winner between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets. Denver tied the series up at 3 games a piece last night with a  113-96 win. Game 7 is Saturday night in LA at 10:30 on TNT.
