Amare Agressive On The Glass

After a 104-94 loss to Miami...Knicks forward Amare Stooudemire threw a punch at a fire extinguisher. I guess you can say that he was frustrated. The only problem with him landing that knockout punch, he might have cost his team the series. Meaning, they Knicks are already in a 2-0 hole to the defending Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat, and that the Knicks would need to have as many weapons as possible to get a least one game at home to keep their season alive. With Shump going out in game 1 for the rest of the season, and now with the foolery on Amare's part, he could be gone for the rest of the seaon as well. This should not sit well with his teammates. I understand being angry after a game, and not liking your performance, but as an athlete you have to control that anger and use that aggression on the court...not off the court. Thats what makes some players great, they knew how to bottle the anger up and then let it all go on the court and just kill whoever was guarding them. No word has been given on exactly how much time Amare is going to miss, but word around the locker room and the Knicks organization is that he could be done. Game 3 is at the Garden, Thursday on TNT.
